Smut Slam DC: Work Hard, Play Harder! @ The Songbyrd Music House & Record Cafe | Washington | District of Columbia | United States

Come out and Slam with me, darlings! The ever-fabulous Mindi Mimosa and I are hosting this fantastic live storytelling open mic every month now.

Live in DC, and you quickly realize that people here are so into work, it’s almost a fetish– but after hours, buttoned-down turns to unbuttoned and getting down. Get your freak on with your fellow workaholics at this happiest of hours with stories of all the jobs you’ve had…and the workplaces where you got them.

(Not familiar with Smut Slam? It’s a storytelling open mic where audience members sign up for 5-minute slots to tell their best real-life, first-person, consensual sex stories. It’s queer-friendly, kink-friendly, lifestyle-friendly, body-positive, sex-positive, and wildly fun. No costumes, no notes, no gimmicks, just straight-up raw truth! See the full rules and how it works on our Rules of the Road page.)

This month, our theme is “Work Hard, Play Harder”. Give us some workplace confessions– the time you steamed up your cubicle while blowing off steam with that hot colleague, the cringeworthy fallout from the company holiday party, the time you spent that all-hands meeting sexting with your sweetie. Tonight, when someone asks you that obnoxiously DC question, “So, what do you do?”, just smirk and tell them, “Joe in Accounting”.

Your fabulous femme-cees will be Smut Slam DC co-producers Mindi Mimosa and Diva Darling, joined by a panel of local celebrity judges (TBA) who have clearance for all your top secrets.

**Doors at 7:30, Show at 8:30**

As always, the Fuckbucket (where audience members can throw in anonymous confessions or questions) is generously sponsored by nJoy sex toys. Prizes for exceptional storytelling may include event tickets, sex toys, gift cards, or other swag donated by fabulous local sponsors.
